The 2009 Ford Escape is a 4-door compact SUV that accommodates five adult passengers. Though it is basically a carryover from 2008, it gets an important change with its engine. It replaces the old 2.3-liter I4, 153-horsepower engine with a 2.5-liter, I4, 171-horsepower engine. The new SUV has got some other exciting changes- exterior and interior with improved power and improved safety.
