Interior Cabin

The XLS models get their life from a standard Duratec 23, 2.3 Liter I-4 engine, that gives 153 horsepower. The limited model is an exception as it hosts a Duratec 30, 3.0 Liter V6 engine, its output is 200 horsepower. The standard transmission in all Escape models except Limited is a 5-speed manual. The Limited model has a 4-speed automatic transmission standard in all overdrive. The transmission promises outstanding efficiency and performance.
Safety
This latest compact SUV is inclusive of standard safety features. The 2008 Ford Escape Wheels has the Safety Canopy System, front-seat-side airbags, antilock brakes, tire-pressure monitor, traction control, full-length head curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 4-wheel ABS, child seat lower anchorage, adjustable upper belt – front, pretensioner etc.
