What a beauty the gorgeous Ford Escape is from all angles!

With the interior NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness), the new Escape models are almost 12% quieter on the highway and they have registered up to 20% improvement in cross winds. This has also happened due to the “acoustic windshield” made from sound suppressing plastic placed between panes of safety glass.

Overview
For 2008, the Escape nameplate has been launched with a fresh new look, inside and out, with many infotainment and safety features. Significantly restyled inside and out and much improved from many aspects, the latest Ford Escape is a significant personal-sized SUV that comes in standard front -wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive models. This compact four-door SUV is available in three trim levels: XLS, XLT and Limited. To match up with the cleaned-up exterior look, the heavily revised inside cabin is a pretty nice place to be.
Ford Escape Interior
The 2008 Escape Ford models have luxurious and comfortable interiors. Right from the seats to the music system, everything is of standard quality. It is the first vehicle that uses recycled fabric seating surfaces, supplied by Interface Fabrics, Inc. The “top of dash” display units placed on the dashboard shows ambient temperature, radio functions and climate-control readouts. The placement of the unit controls on the dashboard makes it easier to reference while driving. The interior cabin is also accented with Ford’s new, signature Ice Blue interior lighting. It offers seating for up to five passengers and 60/40-split folding rear seat. Even with a full complement of five passengers, there is ample cargo space.
Ford Escape Exterior
After the new changes made to the exterior segment, the exterior look of the latest Escape models to some extent resembles the Explorer and Expedition. With a bolder grille, blacked-out B pillar, integrated running boards, higher beltline and a slightly raised hood design, the models look much more beautiful as compared to the previous year models. The new front end moves the headlamps higher and more outboard to the corners, which are again flanked by side marker lamps. However, there are no changes in the engine segment. The models get power from a standard Duratec 30 V6 engine. The overall quietness and particularly the high-speed wind noise reduction makes the Escape the best vehicle for a more pleasant long drive.
